IC3 Certification Exam

There are testing centers around the state of Missisippi. The testing begins at 10 am. The IC3 certification exam consists of three parts Computer Fundamentals, Key Applications, and Living Online. The test requires a fee of $35 dollars prior to taking it.

Journal Entry Final Project

In this semester of Computer Fundamentals I learned how to access the full potential of the microsoft office word, powerpoint and excel. I also learned about all the parts and functions of a computer and how they compare on a mac and pc. FInally I learned a lot of technology based vocabulary words as well as many keyboard functions and other virtues that a computer has available. These skills have allowed me to become more technology savy and have provided me with a solution to several daily problems such as mathematics that could not normally be performed by me.

Technology is very crucial to any career you decide to pursie due to the fact that a computer makes almost any operation easier. For example if you need to make a resume, word can have a vital impact on how you present yourself. Another helpful computer related function that would be benefitial to know would be to know how to fix a computer if it happened to encounter a virus or any other problem of that sort.

The academy that I would prefer to join would be the Multimedia academy. The reasoning behind my decision is that it seems like that certain academy would be the most interesting and would provide the vastest and most unique amount of knowledge rather than learning specific details, that would be in the Mac. The Multimedia academy seems as if it would provide the most perks in various careers that might not have to do with technology.

My Future

1) NYU has a successful program for film production majors. To get into this college you an average SAT score of above 1300 as well as a $65 application fee

2)Washington University in St. Louis offers a good program for becoming a sports analysist or reporter. To get accepted into this school you need an advanced regents diploma as well as over 1200 on your SAT

3) Hunter College has a good business and writing majors, the requirements to get into this college include $100 flat fee as well as a succesful grades on the regents.
